The Cat’s Brew in Sun Prairie opened its doors in 2018. It features a separate cat lounge mimicking a home setting to help cats adjust to human contact in a low-stress way. They keep the number of visitors limited to ensure a calm atmosphere for both cats and guests. All the rescue cats come from Little Orphans Animal Rescue.

Mr. Kitty’s Cat Café & Boutique in Eau Claire
Open since April 2, 2024, Mr. Kitty’s in downtown Eau Claire is a former church turned cafe, boutique, and cat lounge where you can meet around 10–15 adoptable rescue cats from the Eau Claire County Humane Association.

The Pawffee Shop welcomed its first customers on August 31, 2019, as Northeastern Wisconsin’s inaugural cat café. It houses adoptable special-needs cats provided by Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary.

Planet Perk in Oshkosh
Planet Purrrk Club opened on July 27, 2023, as a collaboration between Planet Perk Coffee Houses and the Oshkosh Area Humane Society. It transformed a former Planet Perk location into a 3,000-square-foot facility combining a cat lounge, co-working space, and study hall.
The cat lounge hosts up to 15 rescue cats from the Oshkosh Area Humane Society—all healthy, vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. It operates independently—with separate entrances, restrooms, and air handling—from the main café for cleanliness and cat safety.
Since opening, Planet Purrrk Club averages roughly one adoption every three days, thanks to the relaxed and enriched setting that allows cats to show their true personalities. The space is a unique blend of productivity and comfort: guests

Sip & Purr in Milwaukee
At Sip & Purr in Milwaukee, you can relax with a latte or a glass of wine while a cat curls up on your lap. They also organize special events, such as Wine Tasting With Cats and Yoga With Cats.
They partner with Lakeland Animal Shelter in Delavan, WI, to help local cats find homes, but their mission doesn’t stop there. Since 2018, they’ve flown in at-risk cats (and a couple of dogs!) from Egypt, Qatar, Kuwait, Lebanon, Turkey, and French Polynesia through their international scholarship program.
Their international efforts even inspired a feature-length documentary. 25 Cats From Qatar follows owner Katy McHugh as she leads an incredible rescue mission to bring street cats from Doha all the way to Milwaukee. Every cat from that journey eventually found a forever home through the cat café.

There are two separate areas at Starry Night Cat Café in Stevens Point. The first one is the cozy coffee lounge where you can enjoy coffee, tea, and baked treats in a relaxed, Parisian setting.
The cat lounge is a separate room set up like a living room, with climbing areas and cozy spots for the cats. This environment helps people get to know the cats’ personalities better and consider adoption. All cats come from the Humane Society of Portage County (HSPC).
