If you’re ever in Folsom, you have to check out The Calico Cat Café. This non-profit establishment has organic coffee, fresh muffins, a cute little shop, and lots of adoptable cats and kittens from the Big Sky CARES animal shelter. It’s a cozy spot to chill and maybe even meet your new furry best friend.

- Opening hours: Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 am – 05:00 pm. Sunday, 12:00 pm – 03:00 pm. Closed on Mondays.
- Prices: Admission covers coffee and a muffin. Cats are $95 to adopt. This includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, and a microchip.

Citrus Cat Café in Baton Rouge
Citrus Cat Café was born from turning life’s challenges into something sweet. After a breast cancer diagnosis, the owner found new purpose in opening a cat café in Baton Rouge.
The café offers a cozy spot to hang out with adoptable cats from local shelters while enjoying food and drinks. The cat lounge and café areas are separate for cleanliness.
Visit to relax, support local cats, and maybe adopt a new furry friend.

Crescent City Cat Club in New Orleans
This was the first ever cat café in Louisiana. Crescent City Cat Club opened its doors on November 4, 2017, right in the heart of New Orleans.
This cat café partnered with the Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter and gave many cats a second chance at finding a loving home. Plus, it had a “catio” (a patio for cats).
Unfortunately, Crescent City Cat Club permanently closed in July 2021.
