In Mugeni, Romania, there’s a guest house where three mighty feline hosts run the show: Pensiunea Boróka.
If you’re looking for a quiet rural escape in the heart of Transylvania, preferably with a lived-in charm and the comforting feeling of being welcomed into someone’s home, this guest house is perfect for you.
Let’s meet the resident cats and get a feel for the cozy place they call home.
Welcome to Pensiunea Boróka in Mugeni
Tucked away in the small Transylvanian village of Mugeni, Romania, Pensiunea Boróka isn’t your typical guest house.
Its hosts?
Three utterly magnificent cats who rule the place with charm, sass, and a surprising knack for making visitors feel right at home.
The feline hosts of Pensiunea Boróka
These cats aren’t just members of the Boróka family. They each have their own “job title.”
Two of them act as official surveyors, patrolling every corner of the guest house and making sure no nook goes unexplored. They greet every guest with a friendly meow and take their duties seriously, keeping the grounds safe and sound.
The third cat prefers the social life. He loves joining guests at breakfast, whether you’re digging into scrambled eggs or a plate of charcuterie. Think of him as a feline food critic. He makes sure your meal meets the highest standards of cat-approved deliciousness.
