Beirut, Lebanon
Na is the mother of a cat family of three. Here, she’s staring down ex-president Michel Aoun across a street called Badaro, a vibrant residential area in the city of Beirut, full of bars, restaurants, terraces, with an animated nightlife. During a daytime walk outside with your camera, chances are you’ll meet other city cats on the sidewalk, coming up to say hi!

Cornwall, England
When it comes to white sand, wild surf and wide-open skies, nowhere in Britain can compare to Devon and Cornwall,” states Lonely Planet Devon & Cornwall (Travel Guide).
In fact, Cornwall has been the number one UK Holiday Destination for the eight consecutive year in the British Travel Awards thanks to its breathtaking seaside vistas, cliff-top walks, and stunning medieval castle. Or is it because so many cats take a leisurely walk along the cobbled streets of Cornwall?

Mykonos Town, Mykonos
It was quite hot the day we stopped at Mykonos Town. Our cruise ship, Thomson Dream, moored in the bay and we had to get a tender into the harbor.
Mykonos Town is pretty, with whitewashed houses and buildings everywhere. In the area called Little Venice, buildings overhang the sea. From there, on the hilltop, pretty windmills line up in a row.
Everywhere we wandered, we saw little chapels and churches with red or blue-colored roofs and lots of boutiques for those who want to shop….but not cheap. Set around the harbor were lots of seafood restaurants, all facing the sea.
There are a lot of cats in Mykonos town, but this one looked so regal up on his perch on top of the doorway. We saw him as we wandered through the alleys to Little Venice. Then we came back past him again, and he was in the shade on the window ledge where he enjoyed a little scratch around the ears.

Nagtabon Beach, Palawan Island, Philippines
After weeks of intense work, my husband and I decided to escape to a picturesque destination. Our chosen haven was Nagtabon Beach, a stunning coastal gem located on the western side of Palawan Island in the Philippines. A pleasant one-hour drive north of Puerto Princesa City led us to this serene paradise.
As luck would have it, we found ourselves the sole occupants of the beach that day. However, a friendly calico cat interrupted our solitude. Her eyes were arresting, and I couldn’t contain my joy when she posed for a photograph. Her left eye exhibited a blend of amber hues, complementing the orange tones in her fur, while the rest was sky blue. On the other hand, her right eye was green, with a fleck of pale blue in the middle. Her three-colored eyes made her especially intriguing.
The rest of the day was perfect, sunny, and gorgeous. We brought some food and drinks, and books to read, and I did some snorkeling around the coral outcrops at the north end of the beach. I had a wonderful, relaxing time.
Thank you for coming along. I hope you too have a place you can get away to from time to time.
