Café Los Farolés and its cats
Café Los Farolés in Cannes is an accidental cat haven. The feral cats that now frequent the café were not invited but rather found their way to this spot by instinct and chance. The manager of Café Los Farolés shared with me that they’re all feral cats, but that they come to the café specifically for food. “At night, they head over to the plaza in front of the café to sleep,” he says.

Despite their feral origins, these cats have developed a remarkable bond with the establishment and its patrons. “They all love to cuddle; only the tuxedo is a little anxious,” the manager says.
Another thing these cats have in common is that they are all playful, mischievous, and graceful. Tourists often find themselves captivated by impromptu feline performances, making their experience at the café all the more memorable. It’s a treat to witness these feline entertainers in action.

Turn right onto Rue d’Antibes, a renowned shopping street. Take a left onto Rue du Pré, and continue until you spot Café Los Farolés on your right.
